Maid Of Honour

She's my cousin, and my business partner but most of all she's my best friend. Someone who took her job as Maid of Honour very seriously. She planned the shower and had her own dress designed and made for her. She Helped me make lists and plow through them, no detail too small or too large. She helped put on earrings and clasp my necklace when my hands started to tremble too much. Buckled my straps on my shoes, made sure we had a little privacy before we walked down the aisle and then cried her eyes out when I exchanged vows with my new husband.

She proposed a toast to me that was funny, sweet and sincere. She made me cry a little too. Again.

She thought it was a great idea when we decided to not match our shoes to anything in particular and then made sure someone got a picture.
